At Honeycomb Pediatrics, we believe choosing a pediatric home is about more than just medical care — it’s about finding a team you trust to walk alongside your family as your little ones grow.

Whether you’re expecting your first baby or looking to establish care for your busy toddler, we’re here to make the process simple, welcoming, and stress-free.

What to Expect as a New Patient

From your very first visit, our goal is to make you feel at ease. We take our time to listen, answer questions, and get to know your child as a whole person — not just a chart.

How to Get Started

Insurance

Honeycomb Pediatrics is currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield 
  • Aetna 
  • United Healthcare 
  • Cigna
  • UMR 
  • Tricare
  • Humana
     

If you do not see your specific insurance plan listed, please contact our office to verify if we are in-network.

Please note: It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure we are in-network with your specific insurance plan.
If you have an HMO plan, you will need to designate Honeycomb Pediatrics (or your specific provider) as your child’s Primary Care Physician (PCP).

If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, we offer services at our self-pay discounted rates.

Payment Options

Payment is expected at time of service. We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Card 
  • HSA/FSA Cards 
  • Apple Pay 

Fees & Financial Policies

Newborn Visit Deposit 

A $250 deposit will be collected at the first newborn visit.
This ensures payment during the first month of care while insurance coverage is being established. Once insurance is verified and active:

  • We will file claims on your behalf
  • Any unused portion of the deposit will be applied toward future co-pays or deductible payments.
  • The deposit is non-refundable.
     

No- Show Policy

We understand life happens! However, missed appointments affect the care we provide to all families.

  • Missed Sick Visit: $50
  • Missed Well Visit: $100 

Please call us in advance if you need to reschedule.


Appointments

We kindly ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in.
If you are running late, please call the office. We will do our best to accommodate, but arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.


Sick & Well Visits

Well visits and sick visits are scheduled separately whenever possible.
Please notify us when scheduling if your child is currently sick so we can provide appropriate guidance and scheduling.
